With all the doom and gloom that keeps being publicised at the moment it’s always nice to have some good news.

Back in July of 2008 1st Call Managing Director, Daniel Chambers was nominated for ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ and after a long interview process, pages of favourable letters and a site visit from one of the judges Daniel successfully won the category.

It was a tremendous event held at the Cliffs Pavilion with over 800 people representing local businesses up and down the county. Daniel said “To be amongst the wealth of talent that was there was an honour in it self, and to actually win the award was overwhelming”

Since then Daniel has been involved and works with local Charities and talks at various local Schools and as a result of this Daniel has been asked to judge the Education & Life Long Learning Category at the Thurrock Business Awards in 2009 and has been selected as a finalist for the Essex Countrywide Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2009.
